Zest for Painting – A Journey of Thoughts in 21 Paintings
"On a beautiful summer day more than 40 years ago, I became a painter in the beach of the Caribbean island of Dominica. During my first painting, which I painted pleinair with watercolours, I dicovered my zest for painting." To this day, the paintings of Berlin painter and author Marion J. Bartz are created pleinair. Her moitfs are landscapes, plants, animals, people, places and things. What feelings accompny the artist when she paints? Which paths and detours has she taken over the years? The booklet with 21 pictures and stories is complemented by the classic-sized Magnetic Bookmark "River mouth in the evening light".
In her booklet "Zest for Painting – A Journey of Thoughts in 21 Paintings" the Berlin painter and author Marion J. Bartz dedicates herself to her Mallust (desire to paint) - a feeling that sometimes gently and quietly, sometimes wildly and impetuously helps to determine her life.
This booklet is so far only available in German.
